four great ladies of Western Swing to do the signin' on this his newest
release. Featured are, Mary Ann Price, who sang with Dan Hicks and his Hot
Licks and Asleep at the Wheel, Trudy Fair, the singin'est cowgirl since Patsy
Montana, Chris O'Connell, heard on many of Morrell's previous recordings, and
for 13 years with Asleep at the Wheel, and last but surely not least, Rebecca
Kilgore, a lady whose enormous talent is being recognized by the success of her
own career as a Jazz artist!
With songs from the catalog of Cindy Walker and Bob Wills to the big band book
of Stan Keaton, Morrell's tasty arrangements showcase the talents of the finest
female voices in Western Swing today. Some really cool instrumentals round out
the CD.
And, "JUGGLIN' CATS" will be followed closely by "STYLIN"
a collection of instrumental madness from Tom Morrell and the Timewarp
Tophands.
